It hasn’t been doing much, I’m afraid. I think I’ve decided that one of my next steps is pulling the remaining hood bolts so it’ll stop trying to destroy the hinges and be out of the way, but I haven’t done that yet. However, I have got the Ranchero back on its wheels as of Saturday, which means I can steal a bay when needed. Temptation is pretty strong to not do much with the engine/trans until I have it in the bay, and then pull the radiator support and radiator and drag the power stick straight forward. It’s actually among the easiest vehicles to pull the power stick out of known to man, because the radiator and support unbolt and leave an open valley straight forward - no crazy lifting, no funny angles, just straight forward and out.

My own SIIa Rover is blue, but my cousin’s (in pic) was a project in which I had a hand on nearly every bolt. The horrifyingly giant 1959 Lincoln is mine, ex Jarod Rose here on Oppo. There’s another SIIa in the pipeline which will be Pastel Green instead of Bronze Green, so will be a lot closer to the Lincoln’s Peacock Green Metallic.

Well that is great you got the Ranchero on wheels again. And it doesn’t surprise me the Capri is so easy to get the power stick out. That engine bay is massive.
